About We Rock the Spectrum Westside, ABQ
Courtney Lewis and Jeff Utrata are excited to bring We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym to Westside, ABQ! Courtney is currently a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the mental health field that has dedicated her career to providing specialized care to children and their families. She owns Small Steps Child Counseling in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Her passion has been to diversify how healing comes to all children. Therefore, she and her husband are embarking on opening a WRTS on the Westside of ABQ to serve the ABQ community and Rio Rancho.
Jeff has operated throughout his career as a reliable and thorough team player in facilities that require detailed organizational skills and process management. On top of that, he is a loving father of two neurodivergent children. He sees this gym as a gift to his children and to children in the community that have felt like they don’t fit into ableist culture and expectations. Jeff identifies as neurodivergent and is committed to providing his children opportunities that weren’t available in his childhood.
Courtney will operate as Chief Executive Officer and Jeff, as the Chief Operations Officer. In addition, the leadership team includes Financial Director, Lorrie DeLoach, expert in daily financial strategy and oversight; and Program Director, Lindsey Salazar, a Licensed Mental Health Art Therapist who identifies as neurodivergent and has a strong background of working with the neurodivergent community. Together, we ALL hope that the children and families in our community will find a WRTS Westside, ABQ to gather, celebrate and feel accepted in their neurodivergence.
